Blue light blocking glasses have lenses with a special coating that filters high-energy visible (HEV) blue light — the kind emitted by phones, laptops, tablets, and LED lighting. This type of light is linked to digital eye strain, headaches, and disrupted sleep, particularly when you're exposed to it in the hours before bed.

Our lenses feature an anti-blue light coating that filters blue light wavelengths in the 380–500nm range. Unlike heavily tinted lenses, Nisalume lenses are virtually clear — you get the protection without the orange or yellow visual shift. The lenses also include UV400 protection and an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare.

No. Nisalume glasses come with non-prescription (plano) lenses. They're designed for people who don't require corrective lenses. If you already wear prescription glasses, we'd recommend speaking to your optometrist about adding a blue light coating to your existing lenses.

Both styles offer identical blue light protection. The difference is purely aesthetic:

Nisalume Silver: Clear/transparent top frame with a silver metal bridge and lower rim. Understated and versatile — works with virtually any look.

Nisalume Black: Black top frame with a gold metal bridge and lower rim. A bolder, more defined aesthetic that makes more of a statement.

Standard shipping within Australia takes 3–7 business days. Express shipping is available at checkout (1–3 business days). Orders are processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days of being placed.

Yes. We currently ship to Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. International orders typically arrive within 10–15 business days. Shipping costs and any applicable import duties are calculated at checkout. We're working on expanding to more countries — stay tuned.

• For heavier soiling, rinse with lukewarm water before wiping
